My Story

How my love for nature and philanthropy evolved into Flowers for Change

hi! my name is Elizabeth Donzis. I am a 19 year old college student from Los Angeles, California. Like many others, I have experienced a sense of helplessness since entering quarantine out of fear of Covid-19. However, when I heard that cases of domestic abuse were skyrocketing due to the quarantine, I felt catapulted into action. Nothing brings me greater joy than going to a Farmer’s market and bringing home fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables. This is how I came up with the idea for “Flowers for Change.” “Flowers for Change,” integrates my love of nature, art, and beauty along with the added benefit of supporting Domestic Abuse Victims. This cause means everything to me, and I hope you can find it in your hearts to be apart of it.
